Evorra ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Evorra mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo when you register.
- Event Listings: Event details, images, venue information, and contact details you provide when posting an event.
- Payment Information: When you pay the event listing fee, your payment is processed by Cashfree Payments. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage Data: App interactions, events viewed, searches performed (via Firebase Analytics).
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, FCM push notification token.
- Crash Reports: Anonymised crash logs to improve app stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To display your event listings to other users.
- To process your event listing fee payment.
- To send you relevant push notifications (you can opt out at any time in your device settings).
- To improve and personalise the app experience.
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
Your event listings are publicly visible to all users of the app by design.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.
5. Data Retention
- Account and profile data: Retained until you delete your account.
- Event listings: Retained until you delete the listing or your account.
- Payment transaction records: Retained for up to 5 years as required by Indian financial regulations (IT Act 2000).
- Analytics data: Retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all personal data we hold about you (available in your Profile screen).
- Correction: Update your profile information at any time within the app.
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data via Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account or by emailing support@evorra.app.
- Data Portability: Contact us at support@evorra.app to request a copy of your data.
- Opt-out of notifications: Disable push notifications via your device settings at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
Evorra is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Permissions Used
- Camera & Photos: Used only to let you select or capture images for your event listings and profile photo. We do not access your camera or photos for any other purpose.
- Notifications: Used to send you event reminders and important updates.
- Internet: Required to connect to our servers.
9. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
